Commentary

This week we filed a public comment in response to the Federal Communications Notice of Inquiry on the issue of "Empowering Parents and Protecting Kids in an Evolving Media Landscape." While the Pew Internet Project does not take positions on policy issues, we felt it was important to submit our data as part of the public record to help inform the debates and discussions around kids and media use.

Anyone who is looking for an overview of our recent research on teens and technology use should find these summary documents to be helpful. The primary comment PDF is meant to serve as a roadmap to guide readers to delve deeper into our work, where each of these issues is addressed in greater detail. All of the reports and presentations from which we have highlighted findings are also listed in the attached Addendum.
